More about my blog…

I have thought about starting a blog about several different topics and finally have pulled the trigger on one, this being it! My first attempt. I have a lot of thoughts about things I want to write about covering a number of different topics.

Topics that I am involved in or planning to do would include:

• Family/Faith
• Personal interests
• Health and Fitness
• Travel
• New skills
• My mothers paintings collection

Each of these areas offer me an opportunity to grow personally and keep myself active with new challenges and endeavors. I have learned to scuba dive, construct stand alone buildings, play perfect Blackjack, build wheel chair ramps for others in need, play the guitar, and start learning another language.

I love to travel with my wife, family, and/or friends. I’ll be sharing some of my ventures here in these pages and in fact, am today starting a trip across the mid west US with the intent to blog about my adventures hitting many casinos along the way.

I have a collection of over 100 works of art painted by my dear mother and intend to share many of them and write about the wonderful unique character and creativity she put into them over a lifetime. Who knows, some of you may be interested enough in her artwork to acquire a piece or two!
